Picnic Bay Hideaway

Picnic Bay Hideaway is the perfect holiday home - beautifully renovated, super stylish & very welcoming.  It has easy access, a flat lawn out the front & perfect views of the bay.  The sunsets are something else!    

Renovated and refurnished in 2020, the house is presented in a Scandi-seaside chic style.  The large open plan living, kitchen & dining area has large windows at the front which look out onto the bay.  The front deck has a table & chairs in which to enjoy the views & the sunsets, while at the back is a lovely courtyard which gets great morning sun.  The kitchen is fully set up for catering, with top of the range appliances.  A brand new Smart TV, and a wood burner as well as a heatpump mean this is a fabulous property in all seasons.  

The master bedroom & ensuite are downstairs, with views of the bay.  The family bathroom is also downstairs.  Upstairs is the second bedroom, in a loft style room overlooking the living room. 

Beautifully landscaped, the flat lawn, which joins the reserve across the foot of the properties.  There are steps down to Picnic Bay which is a lovely quiet beach with a pontoon.  

Picnic Bay is located a minute away from the Kennedy Point car ferry terminal, and minutes from Oneroa Village and the Matiatia passenger ferry.  There is a great winery just down the road, and many more wineries & great beaches within 10 minutes drive. 

The property is not to be used for any parties or gatherings.  It is not suitable for children - all guests must be over 18.

Each stay incurs a $220 charge for quality linen, towels and exit clean so you have nothing to do but relax, refresh and enjoy.
